    Seriously, this cannot be real, surely?
    If you thought the waving bears were clever little chaps, then check this guy out – It just gets more and more unbelievable as the video goes on, and you’re like “Hula hoop? FUCK OFFFFF……”

  • DON’T FLOP – Rap Battle – Shuffle-T & Marlo Vs Big J & Lefty *COMPLIMENTS BATTLE**

    Like I said before, not really a fan of the whole Don’t Flop battle thing, but every now and again something like this crops up. Proper funny, this – watch as the usual ‘diss the other guys’ formula is flipped and turned into a battle of who can pay each other the best compliments…

  • Copycat – Pause Tape 1 [Mixtape]

    =========================================================
    New Download Link: copycatbeats.bandcamp.com/

    It’s the ten year anniversary of the Pause Tape 1 [Mixtape]

    This mix was kinda done as a tribute to cut & paste dj tracks, mainly from people like Too Tuff from Philly’s Tuff Crew who was a major influence on a lot of people including me.

    It was also a throwback to the pause button edit mixtapes that most of us started our journey into sampling with.

    It’s a rough & gritty ride through battle breaks, dusty samples & heavy cutting.

    There are way too many tracks & samples to list. All I can remember is a hugh pile of records & a busted Vestax PMC 06 battle mixer at the end of doing this mix.

  • Flight Facilities – Jamiroquai/Notorious BIG – Notorious Insanity

    Here’s the second bootleg from our 90s mix. Everything you hear in this one is from 1996. This may or may not be the final mashup we ever do, so lets all turn a blind eye just this one last time. To all you brow-raisers, keep that bushy little caterpillar above your right eyeball nice and low. In the spirit of the 90s (and even in the spirit of some classic Soulwax), here’s another bootleg to add some nostalgia to your next hip hop soiree.

    We weren’t very old in ’96, but we were certainly listening to to enough music to know what we enjoyed. Even to this day, Jamiroquai remains and inspiration to our productions. Look no further than Foreign Language to catch a few glimpses of Cosmic Girl. The 90s mix was inevitably going to be hip hop, but we wanted to somehow sneak in a few other songs that were instrumental to shaping the decade and our tastes. It worked out as one of the most fortunate coincidences that Hypnotize and Virtual Insanity were in key together. And we know how naff it can be to throw a Biggy acapella over anything, but in tribute to that particular year (and even decade), we had to pay respect to one of the best in the game.

    As a fun side note, the drums are taken from The Fugees – Killing Me Softly (also from 1996). This bootleg is so jam-packed with 1996’ness, it’s one Slap-band away from turning into a Troll Doll.

    Tracks:

    Jamiroquai – Virtual Insanity
    Notorious BIG – Hypnotize
    The Fugees – Killing Me Softly (drums)
